These diapers work very well, and although the style periodically changes as I've read others mentioning, they are good. The latest shipment I received no longer has a yellow stripe that turns blue to show when it's wet, but that's not really essential to me, as the fullness of the diaper tells me what I need to know. The one thing that I do like is that the inner lining (which touches baby's bottom) is the smooth material, as opposed to the mesh lining which I've heard others found was not as comfortable for the baby. A previous shipment I had was with the mesh lining and I didn't notice any problems, but it did sometimes leave an imprint on baby's bottom; the main thing is that the smooth lining seems to work very well and leave no mark or irritation. I do have very mixed feelings about all the of the waste created by diaper use, but these ended up being the most economical and practical solution for us, and the diapers hold a lot well, so we're hopefully using them as... If you have never used any other diapers before these will seem really good. But there are better ones out these for almost the same price even cheaper. We have used these for my son from Day 1 until 7 months will no leaks whatsoever.Recently noticed that as soon we take the diaper off, he reaches for his groin area and starts scratching and rubbing. Didnt realize this was due to the diapers. we ran out of diapers one day and has to run to BRU tograb some. His size was not in stock in pampers sesitive swaddlers. So I bought Earths best because I trust that brand. And in a couple of days that we started using Earths best the itch went away. I cursed myself for not switching the diaper brand sooner. So if your baby is doing the same try switching to Earths best. Earths best diapers are much better quality, fit and size and they also dont have the wierd smell that pampers diapers have. Even my baby seems more comfortable in them. And the good part is they are the same price and even a bit... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Huggies vs. Pampers, October 14, 2011

Well, after using only Huggies for over 18 months, I finally decided to switch to Pampers and see the difference. I must say, I'm very impressed by the softness of the Pampers. That's really the only thing they have going for them. Other than than they are a bit wide in the between the legs area and are too perfumed! They also tend to bulge more than Huggies when wet. Huggies used something special to soak up more fluid, however, when it gets too wet, the top layer of the diaper kind of breaks, and little particles (granules) get stuck to the skin. Summer time it was happening every day, because my daughter was sweating too. Also, since they are not as soft, it's kind of itching her skin on the elastic part. So I'd say, if your kid's skin is not sensitive to the parfumes, it's worth it coughing up a few extra bucks for the soft Pampers. She's size 4 by the way. When she was NB and I tried both brands, I definately like Huggies Little Snugglers better! Once the size is big enough not... Read more
